To be considered for funding, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Be a registered 501(c)(3) organization
Be based in New York City or the surrounding areas
Submit a request for program-specific funding (not general operating expenses)
Applications will not be eligible for review if they:
Do not include the organization’s mission
Do not include a specific budget outlining how funds will be used
Request multi-year or recurring funding
Are submitted by or on behalf of individuals

There is no deadline for submissions
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and are typically reviewed within 4–6 weeks
There is no minimum or maximum request amount
How to Apply
1. Gather the following documents:
501(c)(3) letter
IRS Form 990
Audited financials or current year budget
Program proposal and budget breakdown
2. Email documents
